The Big Habitat Cleanup!
Our vision for Canada is to reduce habitat loss, water pollution, increase waste management. This is important to us/our school community because all the students at our school enjoy going to the creek and the nature trail to see the animals and nature.
Based on attending the EcoLeague Youth Forum on October 24, 2017, we learned about sustainability topics and skills such as invasive species, water conservation, vertical gardens, and seed bombs. We want to learn more about the habitats that were there originally – the animals. To fix these issues, an action we could take is to pick up litter and clean up habitats. We hope that by the end of the school year, we will that we will have saved a lot of wildlife and have somewhere nice to look at.
