Vision

Our vision for Canada is citizens who are genuinely interested in helping others whenever and wherever possible. We hope to always live in a country where people treat others with respect and generosity!

Action

Our team attended LSF’s Youth Leadership Forum in Halifax in November. From the speakers and workshops, we learned about sustainability topics and skills such as bottle cap disposal, sorting waste, promoting a safer and healthier environment, and making a plan and putting it into action. Learning about these topics made us interested in pursuing Action Projects about the the simple things we can do to make the world a better place, such as giving out flowers to seniors at a seniors’ home. This is important to us because we want to show that we care about the people in our community. To fix these issues, some actions we could take are starting a 5 Days of Giving campaign in December and choosing 5 charities to give with the support of our community and local businesses. But first, we’ll need to talk to our principal and administration, and learn more about where the greatest needs are in our community. We hope that by the end of the school year, we will have completed one initiative per month. Go Good Earth Society!!
