Vision

Our school’s vision is to eliminate plastic water bottles from our school. We want to encourage students and staff to only use reusable water bottles. Not only do plastic bottles add to landfills, but drinking tap water is safe and clean and way more affordable.

Action

To begin our campaign we will educate our school community about the negative effects of buying plastic water bottles. We will share the negative environmental issues, from the time the bottles are made to how they are disposed of. Next, we will promote drinking tap water by installing a refillable water bottle station. Once everyone has learned and understands this issue, we will ask all school members to sign a pledge to “Ban the Plastic Bottle” and BRING BACK THE TAP!
