Vision

Students noticed that a lot of paper towels were being wasted. They researched the issue then presented a campaign to have students “use only one” paper towel.

Action

Students researched the issue. Presented their findings to each other. They brainstormed solutions. They then created PA announcements to share with the entire school their “Use Only One” campaign. They put up posters in the washroom areas. They met with custodial staff before and after the campaign started to learn about the difference they are making.

Reflection & Celebration

Consumption of paper towels was cut in half. Students report they remind each other to use only one. The team is so excited to see their campaign work and work so quickly!
