Vision

Our vision for Canada is to be a leader in eco-friendliness by making a big effort to conserve our resources. This is important to us/our school community because we all want to live in a place that is clean, sustainable, and happy.

Action

Based on attending the EcoLeague Youth Forum on October 26, 2017, we learned about sustainability topics and skills such as saving our planet, conserving water, and helping animals. To fix the issues related to these topics, some actions we could take are working to make Oakville a blue community, taking shorter showers, biking to school, and banning plastic water bottles. We hope that by the end of the school year, we will be a blue community and keep our school platinum and also inspire others to be more sustainable, too.
