Sustainable gardening that use less direct watering.

Action

Elementary school students designed a new watering system for their school garden. They used rain barrels to collect rain water. Sensors are located in the rain barrels and in the garden. When the sensors in the garden indicate that there is a need for water, the sensors in the rain barrel would confirm there is enough water for the garden, and the water would be pumped to the garden. The pump is powered by a solar panel.
