Vision

Our vision for Canada is to be more attentive to invasive species growing in community gardens. This is important to us/our school community because of how they adversely affect our planet.

Action

By attending the EcoLeague Youth Forum on October 24, 2017, we learned about the various ways we can contribute to environmental sustainability. We were exposed to processes such as: vertical farming; the benefits of choosing vegan and vegetarian options; biking as an alternative to driving; and the harmful effects of invasive species. We want to learn more about pollution, the ecosystem, and how to protect native species.
To do our part to help, we can share what we have learned with others in our school, and community. We hope that by the end of the school year, we will be able to raise awareness in our community, and help protect the earth.
