Vision

I desired to combat the disconnectivity students felt toward the environment. My way to target this was through schools. I identified that schools were not doing enough to teach students on environmental subjects, and desired to target that. Bernice MacNaughton is the school I attend, grant from Learning For Sustainable Future and Rising Youth, and help from Mount Allison University.

Action

I created a reading comprehension resource to be utilized in schools of New Brunswick, where all literature are environment-focused and can be easily transitioned into a classroom environment. It was fully layout designed and will be printed and stored in Bernice MacNaughton Highschool.

Reflection & Celebration

I must thank all of my incredible contributors, I had help from over 40 individuals, and can only say it was an incredible journey. Two teachers have already agreed to use the resource, and I will be reaching out to many more.
