Vision

Make art installations out of our school’s trash. Bring awareness to the amount of waste our school generates in a week. Offer reusable alternatives.

Action

We tracked the garbage our school generated each day for one week. We pulled bags or garbage from the dumpsters and made art with it.

Reflection & Celebration

The students who were involved in the project felt that they were bringing attention to the problem. They proposed to our principal to buy reusable water bottles for students and reusable coffee mugs for staff.
