Vision

Students wanted to create community awareness of where their food waste is going, divert food waste from the landfill, and create useful compost for the school gardens.

Action

We purchased two composting bins and created posters to educate the community to be more aware of where their food waste ends up.

Reflection & Celebration

Students involved in the Climate Action Project are pleased to have the system in place and look forward to its impact in years to come. Since they finished getting everything set up close to the end of the school year, they have not yet seen much in the way of an impact.
