Vision

Our vision was to raise awareness in the greater Fredericton community about plastic pollution in Fredericton and the alarming rates it is increasing.

Action

We cleaned up around our school while leading a group of grade 8 students. We interviewed a group of marine biologists about their knowledge of the effects of plastic pollution on marine life. We also surveyed our classmates about their level of knowledge of plastic pollution.

Reflection & Celebration

We had completed everything we wanted to, but sadly no one did our surveys, but we feel that we got the message of plastic pollution out to the community. We will be part of a school showcase on June 1st, 2023, at our school. At that time, we will share our project and documentary with members of our school community.
