Vision

The vision of our project aligns with sustainable development goals that include (but are not limited to): Good Health & Well-Being, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Climate Action, Life on Land, Responsible Consumption and Production and Zero Hunger.

Action

For our Action Project, we have decided that we would like to further investigate hydroponics plant growing in the classroom. We were inspired to look at growing green vegetables and herbs for consumption in a sustainable way in the classroom. Students are excited about growing greens without soil and using less water than traditional growing methods. It is important to our school community for students to have food security that also helps them to lead healthier lives while making sustainable life choices each and every day.

Reflection & Celebration

Students are looking forward to making a salad by the end of year using plants from our hydroponics vegetable garden 🙂
