Our vision for Canada is to bring healthy foods to all parts of Canada, whether there is enough soil or sunlight.
We built an indoor greenhouse to prove that it is viable. We also built it so that they canteen and students could have healthy food (i.e. vegetables) all year long.
Reflection & Celebration
After we built our greenhouse, we had some vegetable growers speak to us about what type of plants to grow and how to get the most nutrition out of them . That is how we became involved in growing micro-greens, which have more nutrients in them than the rout vegetable that it would produce and they were ready in less than 3 weeks, which made them a fast, healthy food.
