Vision

Our vision is for students to have the opportunity to connect with nature, plants, and each other through the creation of an indoor garden.

Action

Students have been very busy working to create an indoor garden using grow lights. The growth of our plants has surely generated lots of excitement and conversation around the school and has allowed students to take a closer look at what is happening with their plants as they watch them grow and change each day. Not only have students been able to explore the benefits of gardening without having a huge commitment but the pride they feel for their project is astonishing. We can’t wait for the weather to warm up so we can transplant outdoors.

Reflection & Celebration

The excitement these students show each day while thoroughly checking the growth and changes in their plants is heartwarming. They have taken complete ownership of the project and have pride in explaining to others the work they have been doing.
