Multicultural Herb Garden
Vision
To create a garden with herbs, veggies, and native species that can be used in cultural dishes or ceremony.
Action
Students used the indoor growing station to germinate seeds before transplanting them in the school courtyard. When they were ready, students planted them outdoors or used part of the herbs for salads and other dishes.
Reflection & Celebration
Students were able to spend time in the garden and got to bring some plants home to continue caring for over the summer.
