Vision

Our project aimed to take students outside to continue their learning. An environment that is green and flourishing supports good vibes. At A. B. Ellis we love learning and most of all we love good vibes!

Action

Our actions were big and ambitious! We’ve planted trees, trees and more trees! 8 when all was said and done. Our community came on board with donations of flower boxes and top soil. A classic picnic table made with up recycled timbers saved materials from going to the landfill and provided us with a great place to study. Our Arboretum will be available to students for years to come.

Reflection & Celebration

We are proud of the work that we have done. Our Arboretum has involved the whole school and allowed us, the 2021-22 Eco Team, to be leaders within our school, our community and voices for Mother Earth.
