Vision

Our students wanted to plant a pollinator garden as these species are declining as their habitat is dwindling.

Action

The students chose to plant a pollinator garden and they:
-planned out the space
-removed the grass
-staked out the areas
-dispersed the seeds
-covered with soil
-we are now waiting to see the growth

Reflection & Celebration

My students were very engaged in the discussions around the need for pollinators, interactions between living elements in an ecosystem, planning and implementation of our pollinator garden. They collaborated well and are very proud of their achievement!
