Vision

We want to have students research, understand and own the management of pollinator beds to increase the support for pollinators in our area.

Action

We built raised pollinator beds in our backyard, which borders a natural area and the Wye river. We grew seedlings and bought some established native pollinator plants for our beds. Students researched the plants, designed the beds and will be coding “counters” to try and see which bed attracted the most pollinators.
