Pollinator Garden

Vision

All of our students will learn about the importance of pollinator plants and their relation to the environment and food safety.

Action

All classes were encouraged to participate in germinating seeds for our garden. We partnered with our local horticultural group – Tournenvert, who assisted us with their plant and garden knowledge as well as helping us to plant our plants – that is over 200 students! Students also learned about the importance of pollinating plants and pollinators in our area.

Reflection & Celebration

An amazing project which brought our students, teachers, parents and community members together to create an environmental project. Students will continue to celebrate their work as they watch their plants grow and the pollinators visit their plants.
