Vision

We have spent time learning about bee habitats and their survival adaptations over the short and long term. We have been learning about the importance of pollinators to many of the foods we eat and want to do our part to ensure pollinator survival.

Action

We had our shop class build us garden boxes to create a pollinator garden. We chatted with our local greenhouse to get the best pollinator plants, and are having a presentation from a pollinator biosecurity specialist with the Government of Saskatchewan to further our learning about successful bee habitats and survival.

Reflection & Celebration

We have enjoyed learning about pollinator survival and getting a chance to do our learning outdoors. We cannot wait to observe our pollinator garden boxes in action and further our learning!
