Vision

To acquire raised garden beds to enhance our growing capabilities. We have started a few indoor grow towers and wanted to maximize our plant output so that we can feed our school/sell the excess to our parents and donate the funds to support climate action.

Action

After acquiring the raised garden beds, staff and students assembled them. Afterwards, a staff member prepped the beds and then the students added earth and compost to make them ready. Following that, students transplanted seedlings that they had grown indoors into the garden beds. Now, students are in charge of watering and taking care of the plants.

Reflection & Celebration

The raised garden beds have been a huge success. The planting of the beds kicked off our Earth Week and has become a staple of our outdoor infrastructure. We are all super excited about them and are looking at new and exciting ways for us to use them next year.
