Vision

The purpose of this project is to encourage students to put the correct items in the recycle bin. We believe that this project would be a fun and entertaining way to ensure the sustainable development of our school.
For example, when the students find a recyclable item on the floor, they will be intrigued to throw it in the blue bin, with the motivation of the basketball hoop. Students will have a chance to gain points for every recyclable item they throw in the bin.

Action

Using the five hundred dollars provided, The LSF team ensured we have the materials necessary to complete our goal. Using vinyl, whiteboards and the other materials ordered, we managed to create many stunning basketball backboards.
Through hard work and determination, our basketball backboards will not only promote sustainability but will also encourage a greener future.

Reflection & Celebration

We are always looking for new ways for Boyne to be a more environmentally friendly school and we want you to understand our ideas and take action to make sure it stands out and to help increase Boynes environment and sustainability.
We gathered many times to discuss ways to help our school be eco-friendly and make sure it is sustainable. Working together we came up with a plan and worked together as a team to accomplish our goal.
