Vision

To educate locals and visitors of their impacts on local habitats that are needed to support several species at risk in the Whistler area.

Action

Students researched, designed and produced a variety of posters on several of the species at risk in the Whistler area. These posters will be displayed at local business and government buildings in the Whistler area. Each poster has student art work, pictures, local indigenous language and a QR code that will take people to our student generated website. The website gives viewers more information on why species are at risk and how people can help.

Reflection & Celebration

I am very impressed at the artistic, collaborative and innovation that my students demonstrated during this project. When our posters arrived form the printer, students were proud of the work they had produced and are very excited about getting the posters out into the community.
