Sustainable Gardens


To create, sustain, maintain and grow food/plants for our school and school community. To teach and inspire all on how sustainable food can be and growing gardens allows for more food to be shared in our school.


We bought, cleaned, and planted fruits/vegetables that our students can enjoy for the late spring or early fall. We have garden beds in the sun and full shade, so they learned what plants grow best in what environments.

Reflection & Celebration

We will see each week, weed, and maintain beds to see the fruit in June and summer/fall. The plan is to feed food to students within our breakfast program as our needs are so high for lack of food at home/school.
