Vision

Our vision for Canada is to see cleaner waters and less waste. We also want to see fewer pesticides used as they poison our clean water. We want people to see the yellow fish on storm drains and remember these drains go directly to our water sources.

Action

We researched the Yellow Fish project and decided to paint yellow fish on the storm drains around our school. We made posters with QR codes that we put up in our downtown streets so that people in our community could read about the Yellow Fish Project. We also made posters with QR codes that we put up in our school to survey students about what they know about storm drains.

Reflection & Celebration

We enjoyed working in a group and making our documentary. We enjoyed interviewing students in our school. On June 1st, 2023, our project will be part of a showcase in our school. Members of our community will be able to come into the school to learn more about The Yellow Fish Project
